Woundy Named Faculty Emeritus by Averett Board of Trustees


Dr. Doug Woundy, a member of the GPS faculty for 13 years  was named faculty emeritus by the University's Board of Trustees.


Hijinks and Mayhem Unfold in Averett's Production of "The Comedy of Errors"



Alumni are invited to dinner and a show on Nov. 6 as the Averett Theatre Department performs Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors."

Help the Averett Singers Reach Carnegie Hall


The Averett Singers have started a fundraiser to help pay for their trip to New York to sing at Carnegie Hall in April.




Vote for Coach Dunlevy and Win Money for Averett


Liberty Mutual is sponsoring a program to vote for football coach of the year. Averett Head Football Coach Mike Dunlevy is one of the coaches in Division III.
