Event Description - Averett Day with the Danville Braves

Please join the Danville Braves and Averett University on Saturday, August 15 for an evening at the ballpark. The Braves will take on the Burlington Royals at 7 p.m. Prizes, giveaways and all the expected ballpark fun!

Discount game tickets and game/meal tickets are available for members of the Averett Community with advance reservation. Register today and pay for/pick up your ticket at the game. Look for the Alumni Registration table at the entrance gate.

From Lynchburg, VA:
Take US 29 south to Danville. Take the River Park Drive exit after crossing US 58. You will see signs for Dan Daniel Park. At the top of the exit, take a right into the park, and the stadium is ¼ mile on right.

From South Boston:
Take US 58 west to US 29 South. Take 29 S. to first exit (River Park Dr. exit). Take a right into the park at the top of the exit ramp. Stadium is ¼ mile on right.

From Greensboro, NC:
Take US 29 North to Danville. Once in the Danville Area, take the River Park Dr. exit Dan Daniel Park). At the top of the exit ramp, take a left and go into Dan Daniel Park. Once in park, stadium is ¼ on right.

From Martinsville:
Take US 58 East. Take 58/29 Bypass (towards Greensboro/South Boston/Lynchburg). When bypass splits to go to Greensboro, stay on 58 E/29 N Bypass towards Lynchburg. Take the River Park Drive exit (for Dan Daniel Memorial Park). At the top of the exit, take a left. Go across overpass straight into Dan Daniel Park. The stadium is ¼ mile on the right.
